Line Sensor Board for MEGAbitty or other small robot.
Two small infrared photoreflectors are used to
measure surface reflectivity.
Analog output reads less than 1V for distances of ~1-5mm from a
white surface, and quickly ramps up to ~5V beyond 5mm, or for a
black surface. Sensor outputs can be hooked directly to the interrupt
input pins of the MEGAbitty and other microcontrollers, or can be used
with an ADC. Sized for MicroSumo (50mm cube), but certainly not limited to it.
Only 1.55" x 0.35" x 0.10" thick.
This is a kit, requiring assembly of extremely small surface-mount components. Advanced soldering skills and a good soldering equipment required. |
